LIFE! It’s got in the way of my blog writing lately but I’ve had ‘Sweaty Betty’ on my brain for weeks now wanting to tell you everything I could about ‘them’.

LOVE the name.  The first time I saw it in print the silliest caricatures came to mind of Betty, of GoComics.com fame, on a treadmill, then an exercise bike . . . sweating!  Not sure why it had to be ‘her’ that came to mind but, since then, I haven’t been able to get ‘Sweaty Betty’ out of my mind!

(Sadly, I couldn’t find Betty in a ‘sweat’!  Maybe if she had some cool workout gear from ‘Sweaty Betty' that might change?)

. . . and, ‘No, there’s no connection to the two, except in my brain!’  BTW - This is the same brain that Chris wants to give to Science . . . while . . . I’m still alive!  (Hmm, should I be worried?)

So, ‘Why I wondered?’ hadn’t I heard of Sweaty Betty before since I know it’s a name I’ve would have remembered.  It’s because . . . while they’re huge in London, England and throughout the UK they are just “getting wet . . . ‘er, make that sweaty” in North America.

In writing this blog, I had wanted to give you the Cliff Notes version on 'all things',  Sweaty Betty, but I quickly came to the conclusion that I simply wasn’t going to be able to condense all the great information on their site and do it justice.  For starters, their site has so much to check out in the way of guides:

Oooops!  I just figured, that you’d figure, that Sweaty Betty was all about the clothes and accessories one might need when . . . trying to be tactful here . . . one is publicly getting sweaty (however doing so behind closed doors is also an option)!  Might as well look and feel your best while pushing yourself to the max!

So, Sweaty Betty has all you’ll ever need so you’ll look AND feel like a million bucks while you are:

At the bottom of Sweaty Betty’s home page there are all kinds of terrific links worth checking out . . . that is after you get through checking out all their great catalogue offerings.  After spending hours on this site and reading the autobiography of Tamara, who was the brains behind ‘Sweaty Betty’, I felt as if I had a whole new bunch of chums.  Chums with . . . Personality . . . Integrity . . . Foresight . . . Vision . . .
